Find Used Buick Cars in Utah
The Buick Motor Company was incorporated in 1903.
The first car built was the Model B, a two-cylinder
engine with an advanced overhead-valve cylinder head
design. In 1907, Buick presented its first
four-cylinder production car, called the Model D.
The company was founded by David Buick in Flint,
Michigan, and in 1904 the company was taken over by
James Whiting. William C. Durant was hired to manage
the company, and with Durant in charge, Buick earned
the name of largest car maker in America. By 1914,
all Buick cars were built with six-cylinder engines
and purchased mostly by the upper-class. Throughout
Buick’s history they have been pioneers in new
technologies. They were the first to integrate four
wheel brakes on mass-produced vehicles. They were
also the first to include '30s the industry's first
rear turn signal to use a flasher, and later on,
vehicles with power brakes and steering, and 12-volt
electrical systems. They also released the first
American V6 passenger car engine.
Today, Buick continues to be built in both the
United States and several other countries under the
General Motors Corporation. Buick has achieved a
centennial of building cars with a design the
company calls "Premium American Style." Its slogan
is 'When Better Automobiles are Built, Buick Will
Build Them'.
The company aims its market at traditional American
luxury-car buyers, and they place a certain priority
on the plush ride, rather than performance. In
recent years they have expanded their production to
SUVs and crossovers, for the purpose of bringing in
younger customers. These vehicles have been met with
mixed success. Its future goal is to maintain the
niche of younger consumers, while still staying true
to the company’s heritage and keeping those who are
traditionally loyal. Buick has always represented
the best of American luxury, comfort and style at an
affordable price. They plan on staying true to their
values.About Utah Used Buicks

Buick's full-size, front-drive used family sedan has
been the best-selling full-size model in the U.S.
market for years. The LeSabre is in the same ranks
as used Chrysler Concorde, Mercury Grand Marquis,
and Toyota Avalon. Standard equipment includes front
side airbags, remote keyless entry, and an
automatic-leveling suspension. Some used LeSabres
come with a special package called the Gran Touring.
This version has a firmer suspension and bigger
tires. This used vehicle offers great performance;
it has plenty of passing power and smooth,
responsive gear changes. You can expect to get an
average of 17.9 mpg, and the LeSabre takes
regular-grade fuel. Handling on this car provides
moderate body lean in turns and good grip in tight
cornering. The engine is quiet while cruising, but
you can hear a muted growl during hard acceleration.
The used LeSabre seats five, but the rear middle
seat is not wide enough for an average adult. The
2001 LeSabre Custom is listed at $4,900-5,500, its
interior finishes and rear room is limited, but this
used car offers a feeling of size and comes with
excellent standard features.
