Find Used Honda Ridgeline Trucks in
Utah
The Honda Ridgeline Truck has a fuel
economy range of 21 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg in
the city. It has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. The
all-new Honda Ridgeline is unique, it doesn't look
or act like any other pickup truck. It has a
covered, sealed and lockable 8.5 cubic-foot storage
compartment in its bed that no other pickup truck
can match. The Ridgeline is sold in three different
levels of standard equipment: The RT is the base
model, followed by the RTS and RTL versions, and at
the top, the RTL. Standard amenities on the RTL
include a navigation system, XM Satellite Radio and
a moonroof. All models are powered by the Honda
3.5-liter engine, which is well respected in the
industry. All models have a five-speed automatic
transmission. They also carry Honda's automatic
VTM-4 all-wheel-drive system. The standard operation
for this transmission normally proportions the drive
60 percent to the front wheels, 40 percent to the
rear. If a necessary situation comes about, it can
go to 30/70. Safety equipment that comes standard on
Ridgeline includes anti-lock brakes, traction
control, vehicle stability assist, standard
all-wheel drive, front multi-stage airbags, front
and rear side curtain airbags, lap and shoulder
belts for all seating positions and LATCH systems
for each of the three rear seating positions. The
Honda Ridgeline has been redesigned in a
revolutionary style. This comes about with a
dramatic new tailgate shaping and improved storage
innovations. This is all added to its combination of
body-on-frame isolation and unibody stiffness. The
Honda Ridgeline comes at a reasonable price, even
the top level RTS. On the interior, bucket seats
come standard in front with a reasonable center
console. The split folding 60/40 rear seat is
surprisingly comfortable for two adults. There is a
24-degree backrest angle, and these back seats feel
more like a front seat. The Honda Ridgeline is a
heavy vehicle, with weight coming from its four
doors, five seats, all-wheel-drive system and
independent front and rear suspension. The V6 engine
is powerful and flexible, yet at the same time loses
the harshness of some V6s. The RT model is
distinguished by black bumpers, black door handles
and steel wheels while the other two use body-color
handles and bumpers and alloy wheels. The RT has
manual seats, but the RTS and RTL come with power
seats. The RT trim has no lumbar support, the RTS
has manual lumbar, and the RTL has power lumbar. RTS
has alloy wheels, 6-disc changer, dual-zone climate
control, and eight-way driver's seat. RTL has heated
leather seats, HomeLink, and XM. Optional ammenities
include XM Satellite Radio, an MP3 digital
interface, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls on
RTS and RTL, satellite navigation and a roof-mounted
DVD entertainment system. On the exterior, the
standard grille does look a bit busy. However, there
is an optional grille that is available through the
Honda accessory program. This is one of about 50
items already developed for dealer installation. The
profile view features a lot of metal sculpturing
from end to end that normal pickup trucks with
separate beds don't have. The Ridgeline has a look
to its own and a performance in line with other
vehicles in its class.
